ABC Canberra Drive: the government’s approach to scams

The Australian government is going to try to stop scams in a different way: holding banks, telcos, and social media companies responsible. How will it work?

Tune into the November 7 edition of ABC Canberra Drive to hear it from the 1:22 mark (1 hour, 22 minutes) before ABC takes the recording down, usually a week after it goes up.

Correction: When Leigh said “trillion” in regards to the losses incurred from scams in Australia, he actually meant to say “billion”.
