The 3G shutdown is big news, and with Vodafone’s 3G cut-off in days, Pickr’s Leigh Stark called into ABC Adelaide to talk what’s happening.
In a little over a week, Vodafone will flip the switch on its 3G network and shut down access. While it won’t likely make a dent on phones, personal safety devices may be affected as could rural technologies, such as cameras on plots of land.
What does this mean for you? Pickr’s editor Leigh Stark joins ABC Adelaide’s Paul Gough to talk about that, while also answering calls from concerned listeners.
Check it out at ABC Adelaide from the 10.22 mark.
