Samsung upsizes its OLED offerings with 77, 83 inches

TV changeover season is upon us, and TVs are getting bigger, too, as Samsung shows off its new OLED sizes.

It’s not just LG talking up what we can expect from new OLED models this year, but also Samsung along for the side.

While the company’s latest TVs haven’t been entirely announced for Australia beyond that of what was shown at CES earlier in the year, it’s getting in with one new OLED variety before the full list is announced.

Specifically, it’ll arrive in a new Samsung S-series OLED, sitting just under the current S90F and S95F ranges. More of an eight-series, the S85F will bring a 77 and 85 inch OLED choice to Australia priced at $5749 an $8049 respectively, with glare-free options in the S95F to come shortly, as well, albeit for higher price points.

“Samsung has always been committed to providing a screen for every Australian experience and we are so pleased to have pushed the boundaries of innovation once more to provide the best of Samsung OLED technology in our biggest form factors across the range,” said Simon Howe, Director of Audio Visual for Samsung Australia.

“Each year we see a growing number of Australians looking to upgrade their screen size, and with this trend comes the need to offer more big screen options across our wider TV range,” he said.

It’s worth noting that while Samsung’s OLED offerings do appear to be on their way to Australia, the rest of its 2025 range hasn’t yet been priced, which will probably see announcement later on, likely in April some time.
