Hisense’s 2025 TV range includes big screens with Mini-LED

New TVs are on the way from Hisense, with the smallest measuring 55 inches. However, 100 inch TVs can now be found for well under $10K, too.

Nearly five months into the year, TV changeover season is in full swing, with the likes of Sony offering two new Bravia models and LG releasing even more as part of its lineup.

Hisense is next, it seems, and it’s taking more of a middle ground approach, as it looks to democratise technology and bring more screen sizes to more price points.

Much like how Sony is making things easy with only two ranges to choose from Hisense looks set to offer three: entry, mid, and best-in-class. In 2025, that will cover the U6QAU Pro, the U7QAU, and the U8QAU respectively, continuing the U6, U7, and U8 models, but updated for this year.

In the entry level, there’s the U6QAU Pro (above), which will see Mini-LED technology on the entry level, with support for Dolby Vision, a 144Hz refresh rate, and gamer-focused technologies including AMD FreeSync Premium. The U6Q will also get a 2.1 sound system with virtualised Dolby Atmos built-in, and a solid choice of screen sizes, starting from 50 inches.

The Hisense U6QAU Pro could end up being one of the year’s most economical TVs, with a 55 inch for $1499, a 65 inch for $1899, a 75 inch for $2799, 85 inches for $3799, and a staggering 100 inch TV for $6999.

Next up is the U7QAU, another Mini-LED TV with a 165Hz panel, plus an upgraded sound system that doesn’t have to use a virtualised Atmos system, but can instead use a real Dolby Atmos 3D sound system. It will see a 2.1.2 spatial system, and a similar assortment of TV sizes, offering 55 inches for as little as $1799 and 100 inches for $7999.

Hisense’s U8QAU will amp up the performance considerably, sporting more brightness, more dimming zones, Quantum Dot technology to boost the TV’s colour, a 165Hz panel, and a 4.1.2 Atmos 3D sound system. It’s basically the better version of the previous two screens, it seems, and it’s one that will come in four sizes: 65 inches for $2999, 75 inches for $3999, 85 inches for $4999, and 100 inches for $9999.

The audio will also apparently be tuned by Devialet, giving the speaker systems a little more in the quality department.

“From cutting-edge AI enhancements to immersive big-screen experiences, we’re ensuring Aussies can enjoy premium picture quality and state-of-the-art performance—whether you are a movie lover, gamer, or sports fan,” said Chris Koris, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hisense in Australia and New Zealand.

The three ranges are pretty much what 2025’s TVs will look like for the company, at least for now, with the CES announcement of a 116 inch ULED X TV to come later, possibly as we approach the back half of the year. More premium TVs usually get announced near IFA in Germany, which means an August to September date.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Hisense U6, U7, and U8 TVs are set to arrive now through May.
