You can use a projector to get a big screen experience, but if you want to go beyond the wall, Hisense has a massive new TV.
Walls aren’t typically TVs, though with certain technologies, they can certainly get that big.
If you’re someone with a fair amount of money able to make a wall as close to a screen as possible, there are options, such as the Samsung Micro LED concept, which initially launched as a customisable TV screen of various sizes, but has since been made into a massive screen for homes with massive walls and equally deep pockets.
However Samsung’s option isn’t alone, as Hisense releases a big TV for folks who need a sizeable screen.
The latest flagship in Hisense’s TV range, the 110-inch ULED X Mini-LED TV is the biggest the company has offered, and one that brings the best technology Hisense has to offer.
“The 110UX marks a pivotal step forward in Hisense’s journey, redefining its TV product line to set new benchmarks in the ultra-premium and large-format display categories,” said Chris Kotis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hisense in Australia.
“By expanding the ULED and ULED X lineups to include larger screen sizes, Hisense is meeting the growing demand for immersive, big-screen entertainment experiences,” he said.
The new screen comes in a staggering 110 inch size, making it bigger than just about any other screen out there. While size is the name of the game, the resolution is limited to 4K, missing out on the 8K display some TVs arrive with, limited as 8K may be.
However, the 110-inch Hisense ULED X does arrive with 40,000 dimming zones for more control over lightness and darkness in the regions of the screen, as well as support for the crystal-honing colour technology of Quantum Dot, support for both IMAX Enhanced Certification and Dolby Vision, plus a 4.2.2 surround sound system also catering for Dolby Atmos 3D audio.
“By integrating a suite of industry leading technology and features, the 110UX redefines the potential of home entertainment by providing a fully immersive, big screen experience without compromising on performance,” said Kotis.
Pricing for the 110 inch Hisense ULED X is understandably up there, because shock horror, a massive display measuring nearly three metres across diagonally would definitely attract the dollar signs.
However, folks who don’t think about price versus size will find the Hisense 110 inch ULED X available for $24,999, available from the likes of Bing Lee, The Good Guys, and Harvey Norman, as well as from Hisense’s own online presence.
