The next Deadpool movie looks fun and cheeky, and Xbox is ready with a couple of clever controllers that you won’t actually be able to find.
Fans of Marvel’s Deadpool are probably looking forward to the third entry in the series on its way this week, especially since it sees the titular character team up with X-Men’s Wolverine, and that is making for some clever tie-ins.
There’s a creative popcorn bucket on the way to select cinemas, a bottle of Aviator Gin, special edition ketchup and mustard bottles, and just plenty of ads for other things.
Gamers will also find the duo making their way to similarly cheeky controllers, it seems, as Microsoft and Marvel build Deadpool and Wolverine-inspired Xbox controllers, both of which wear the colours of each character, but back in a butt on the back of each.
Specifically, the Deadpool and Wolverine custom Xbox controllers are a literal play on being cheeky by including buttcheeks, complete with the costume colours and textures across the red of the controllers.
The catch? Neither controller will be made available in stores, with the controllers able to be won, but not bought.
Microsoft will also have Deadpool-inspired controller holders ahd a custom Deadpool Xbox Series’s X with foam versions of Deadpool’s swords at the back, plus two of the controllers that you can also only win.
